Stacey is ignoring Mo who is yelling up the stairs. Sean asks why Mo is yelling at Stacey. She lets him know she slagged off the store the day prior and she isn’t getting away with it today. Mo asks what’s wrong and Stacey gives a cheeky reply.
Bradley is having a go about Max not returning. Jim declares Bradley needs to learn that Max is going to always think about himself first and never sticks with anything.
Dot receives something in the post.
Keith spies on Darren. Mickey offers to take Darren to the cafe to get something warm in him.
Sean comes to talk with Stacey to find out what is wrong with her. Stacey is crying, and Sean determines that it’s that geezer who has her down. He grabs her phone and starts looking through her calls. Stacey realizes she needs to move on.
Keith comes to see Kevin. Keith comes to ask a favor.
Sean walks up to Carly in the cafe. Carly declares once was a mistake but twice…well it was fun. Sean is confused and wants to see her later. Carly dodges out.
Shirley has a right snog in the streets with the construction manager. Carly and Dino are disgusted.
Carly is speaking with Yolande and tells her that Tanya called Preeti to ask her to manage without her a little longer. Stacey overhears and rushes out. Meanwhile, Dino comes in and has a go at his Mom. He storms out, and Shirley follows. Dino has another go and calls his mum an old tart. She tries to smooth it over.
Jim brings George to the laundrette and talks with Honey about the Vicar’s visit. Dot is upset that the Vicar wants to see them again.
Bradley is ragging on about how his Dad never sticks with anything. Stacey has a go at Bradley and calls him out on his whinging. Bradley is caught off guard.
Dot is determined to tell the Vicar she’s changed her mind. Jim wonders if the Vicar found out who George is. Dot runs out yelling she needs a cigarette.
Sean comes sniffing around Carly again, and she locks him in the rear of a Volvo.
Yolande refuses to sell Dot cigarettes and counsels her. Dot is determined smoking will help. Yolande comes out ahead, and Dot runs out.
Keith walks in on Libby and Darren. Darren yells at Keith about how he’s not hearing him. Keith plays his ace and tells Darren he’s going to live with his Mum. Darren storms out.
The Vicar comes back to Dot and Jim’s. Dot ask if there is a problem. The Vicar can’t find any trace of George’s birth certificate. Jim pushes Dot to tell the Vicar they aren’t going through with the christening. But she hasn’t changed her mind. Jim and Dot argue about the fact that she’s lying and she quotes the bible verse. The Vicar walks in, and Jim blurts out that she’s changed her mind. The Vicar says he just needs the birth certificate. Dot comes clean that he doesn’t have one. She tells the Vicar he’s not George.
Dino comes in the Vic and asks Stacey to help him in his store. He has a go at her for her day drinking, and she bites his head off. Sean comes in and has a go as well. She storms out.
Dot goes over the whole story of George, and the Vicar listens with intent. The Vicar tells her that it’s good that she’s taken him in, but it’s not the same as bringing up one of her own. He starts to work on her about her age and how small George is. He’ll need documents to get into school. She realizes that he wants her to give him up. She declares it’s just as she left Pauline alone and didn’t help her. The Vicar tries to persuade her to do what’s right. Dot ask if social services will be coming around. He leaves it up to Dot to make the right decision on what happens next.
Chelsea chases Sean down, and he’s distracted. She goes on about the salon, and he puts her off for 10 minutes. Chelsea goes into the Vic and Sean walks towards the car lot.
Stacey is tearing up the lingerie Max gave her when her phone rings. It’s Bradley asking if she would like to meet up. Chelsea has words about Max to Bradley.
Sean locks Carly in the car lot office.
Dino is waiting for Shirley in the Vic, and her dodgy boyfriend delivers a message that something came up.
Darren meets Libby and Mickey at the cafe. He may only have to summer with his Mum and then return to the square to work for Kevin.
Dot goes to visit with Honey. A note came from George’s(Thomas) mum. Honey tries to convince Dot to do the right thing.
Keith is standing in an empty flat with Ghingis and declares that there was only one. Mickey comes in and tells Keith how Darren is doing. Mickey talks about how Darren is too stubborn to see what Keith has tried to do for him. Mickey tries to convince Keith to make up with Darren. Libby does the same with Darren. Mickey pleads with Keith to change his mind and stay.
Jim brings the phone and social services number to Dot. The doorbell rings, and it’s Stacey. She asks for Bradley, but Jim puts her off. Dot makes the call to social services.
Stacey is on the prowl and sees Dino sulking in the square. He’s short with her and then declares he shouldn’t bother because it’s not the first time she’s let him down. Stacey says that’s what people do. He says it should not be that way. She declares it is.
Mickey has one more plea with Keith and begs him to stop and stay.
Carly calls Sean to let her out. He says she’s going to have to beg. She says never, and he declares she’ll be waiting a long time.
Darren walks out of the cafe and runs towards the flat. He sees the moving van and is gutted. He sees Keith and Mickey carrying boxes into the flat. Keith tells Darren that the flat he was going to get was not even wired up for cable. Darren looks dumbfounded.
Dino and Stacey are chatting in her room. He picks up her shredded longer. She tosses it and declares she doesn’t care to get into relationships. She puts the moves on Dino.
Dot tells Jim they are sending someone round. Jim says it’s the right thing to do and puts the kettle on. Dot looks in on George.
The social worker arrives. Jim brings her through, but Dot is gone. She’s last seen running to the tube with George in his pram.
