The social worker is confused as to why Dot is not there anymore and worries she might be unwell. Jim does his best to explain and cover up until they figure out where Dot is. He sends Bradley off to see Honey about Dot. Dot is riding on the underground starring at Tomas/George
Sean calls Carly and winds her up as he still has her locked in the car lot office. Deano is keen on Stacey, and she tells him that she can’t go out with him because she’ll be washing her hair. Sean comes home to see Deano and Stacey kissing at the bottom of the stairs.
Jim confuses the social worker by explaining that they found the baby in the church and he’s stumbling all over his words.
Sean goes after Deano, and Stacey tells Sean she doesn’t even like Deano after he’s left.
Keith is back to being his lazy self, not unpacking as soon as Darren heads out and instead plops in his recliner and turns on the telly.
Dot arrives at an old friends home.
Sean comes into the car lot tearing the place apart. Yelling about Stacey and Deano. He’s a bit crazy about it all. Bangs up the area even more and Carly tries to help him and calm him down.
Bradley comes in and asks Jim why they lied to him about George/Thomas. The social worker leaves but promises to return as soon as Dot arrives back. Bradley whinges a bit and Jim tells him now is not the time.
Dot arrived at Dr. Legg’s house. He’s shocked to see her with a baby and find out she’s given up her cigarettes. They talk about the baby and his mother. Dot knows what he’s going to tell her, but Dr. Legg tells her there is no way she’d even listen to him. He goes on about how he misses the square and his job. Dot talks about a moment when Dr. Legg came to her aid nearly 50 years ago. She says he could have gone to jail for helping her. She declares that is why she thinks so highly of him for helping her all those years ago.
Sean is worried about Stacey. He and Carly talk about Stacey’s love life and how he’s concerned about her. Carly tells him how she thinks her and Deano are a good match. She says Sean “you aren’t her dad” and Sean yells not to bring his dad into this. Carly cares for him and wants to help him. Sean runs out.
Dot and Dr. Legg continue to talk about that fateful night that he helped her abort her baby. Charlie had threatened to push her down the stairs. Dot talks about what “Gwen” might have done and grown up to be. She believes she is being punished. Dot says she poured everything she had into Nick and he still turned out bad. Dr. Legg helps her see that it was a gift and a way of forgiveness for herself. Dr. Legg helps her understand she’s started his life out in love. Dot realizes she must give him up. Dr. Legg asks her if she’d wished it never happened. She realizes that she’s all the better for having had this time with George/Tomas.
Darren and Libby talk about him going to see his Mum. Darren muses he doesn’t want to go. Libby says it might be a good idea.
Stacey avoids Deano.
Honey, Bradley, and Jim are waiting for Dot or any news. The bell rings and Jim sends Bradley to speak with the social worker. Bradley calls for Jim, and they find Dot standing there, having forgotten her key.
Sean is sulking into Queen Vic where Carly finds him. They flirt a bit and commiserate over coming from a screwed up family. Carly seems to have a way with him and tells him that she’s always there for him. Sean softens. Could they be falling for one another?
Bradley and Dot talk about her visit with Dr. Legg. She tells him a bit about her first marriage to Charlie. Telling Bradley how Dr. Legg was always there for her in her difficult times with Charlie. She tells Bradley about the abortion. She’s worried that he’s judging her. Bradley realizes the pain he put Stacey through. He confesses to her about what he did to Stacey. Dot is shocked to hear him say what he’s done. She picks up George/Tomas and tells Bradley to hold him and cuddle him. She suggests he take him for a walk and it’s never too late to say he’s sorry to Stacey. Bradley goes out with George/Tomas. Dot prepares herself for saying goodbye to the baby.
Stacey answers her phone, and it’s Bradley. He’s out holding the baby and tells her he’d like to speak with her.
Darren comes home to find Keith passed out in front of the telly. Darren is furious because he’s not going to unpack the whole house. Darren tells him he’s to call his mum and tell her he’s on his way.
Bradley and Stacey chat and she tries to stop him from talking about the abortion. He apologizes and tells her he can’t believe he did that. That if he could, he would turn back time he would. He offers over George/Tomas for her to cuddle. He wonders what they’d have been like. He asks her for the chance to bring around some wine, and she says yes. He runs off to grab something, a camera, and they take a photo like a proper little family.
Libby is mad that Darren is going. They awkwardly hug, and he kisses her on the cheek. Keith sees him heading off. Libby meets him at the tube station and gives him a proper kiss.
Sean stares over at Carly.
The social worker arrives to pick up the baby. Dot tells the baby she may be able to come visit him. She’s hoping he turns out okay and kind. Dot breaks down as the social worker leaves with him. Stacey stares and cries as they pack the baby in the car. Deano comes over, and Charlie tells him she is ill. Deano says he gets the message.
Dot and Jim watch as they leave with the baby. Bradley shows her the photo of him and Stacey with George/Tomas. Dot has hope that it means Stacey and Bradley will reunite. Dot goes out for a walk alone.
Keith has sunk to a new low feeding Ghingis and then using the same fork to eat his meal after he wipes it off thankfully. He calls Dawn and Rob a ring because he’s lonely.
She buys a pack of cigarettes and takes a puff as she walks toward the Vic.
Bradley runs into Deano at the Vic, and he has a go about Stacey being a scrubber. Bradley is confused then Deano tells him about him and Stacey. Bradley is upset and tears up the photo of him, Stacey and the baby.
