Dean is worried that Carly didn’t come home. Kevin and Denise tell Dean that she probably stayed at Sean’s. Kevin tells him it’s best to realize she can make her own decisions. Dean doesn’t think she can,, and Kevin tells him to leave it. Dean walks out.

Stella comes down to the bar to find Peggy. Peggy says she looks shattered. Stella says she was up all night worrying as Phil never came home. Peggy tells her that he probably is asleep over on Minty and Garry’s couch. Stella wonders why he wasn’t answering his phone then. Peggy says let’s look at worst case scenario: They’ve tied him up to a lamp post hopefully in Walford. Someone bangs on the door and Peggy surmise it must be Phil having made his escape. Stella rushes to open the door to find Billy. Stella asks where Phil is and he says he doesn’t know. Stella freaks out, and Peggy calms her down. Stella says she’s going to call the hospitals. Peggy tries to stop her. Peggy orders Billy to find Phil. Phil is at Shirley’s. Shirley asks him what he’s going to do and he says he has no clue.

Carly comes home. She argues with Dean about Sean. Dean tells her that Sean is going to hurt her. Chelsea says “good then she’ll know how I feel.”

Max and Tanya walk by Stacey’s store. Tanya says he should be feeling guilty. Tanya orders him to go apologize. He walks up, and Stacey says “she sent you over here did she?” She tells Max to keep his distance. Tanya thinks he’s done it and tells him that wasn’t so bad.

Shirley helps Phil escape her flat. He thanks her and she tells him anytime. Meanwhile, Stacey is on the phone with Belinda, but she’s changed her mind about letting Bradley and Stacey using her villa. Stacey tells Bradley she has the house to herself tonight and to come over.

Outside the Vic, Phil looks up with worry. Mickey walks into the cafe, and he tells Li that she needs to get her stuff out of his flat now. Stella is a wreck at the kitchen table determined Phil has left her. Peggy finally gets it out of her that they’ve had a row but thought they’d worked it out. Stella is afraid she’s lost him. Peggy tells her that she hasn’t and she’ll make sure of it. Over at the arches, Minty opens up to find Phil there. Billy comes running to tell him Phil didn’t go home last night only to see that Phil is there. Phil tells them he checked into a hotel and was alone.

Preeti is excited that Mickey and Li have split up. Chelsea wants to know how she knows. Preeti says she overheard them having a row and he’s chucked her out of the flat. Chelsea wonders why it matters. Preeti tells her she stands a chance now. Chelsea tells her to steer clear. Dean walks in to talk to Chelsea. Chelsea tells him that guys like Sean always get away with hurting girls and doing what they want. Dean says her not this time.

Jim is asleep on the sofa when the hoover comes on. Dot wakes him up and tells him she knows why he’s sleeping there as he’s got a hangover from last night. She says him if she’d had lit up a cigarette the whole place would have gone up in flames. She tells him he’s grounded. He’s going to have a nice meal tonight and go straight to bed tonight. If he’s going to act like a child, she’ll treat him like a child.

Tanya is walking past Dean when Sean walks in front of her. She tells him she has no time for his games. He calls after her. Dean yells at him that he’s supposed to be Carly’s boyfriend. Sean tells Dean that he’s not anyone’s boyfriend. They have words, and Sean walks off yelling at Dean to give that drag queen a call.

Phil walks into the pub and Peggy immediately has a go at him. She wants to know where in the world he’s been. Phil tells her to leave it. She says “I’ve had Stella in tears all morning because of you.” Stella is in the sitting room hurting herself again and overhears them. She pulls on her jacket and runs into the kitchen to find Phil. She runs in telling him how worried she was, that she’d been rining the hospitals. She tells him she thought something dreadful must have happened to him. Phil is put off and tells her he’s okay. She wonders where he was, why he wasn’t answering and fires questions at him rapidly. Phil bites back asking if he is going to have to wear an electronic tracking device? Is this is how it’s going to be from now on? Stella looks wounded. She says no of course not. Phil says good and walks out.

Dean walks up to Carly and tells her that he’s just been having a chat with her boyfriend, except according to him they aren’t even together. Kevin tells Dean to leave it. Carly tells him to leave it, and she’s not listening to any more of his lies. Kevin tells him this is not getting him anywhere.

Stella walks in and apologizes. He says he should have called. He tells her he just wants a nice atmosphere for Ben to come home to. She says maybe they should do something special. He asks “like what” and she tells him to leave it to her. Peggy stands behind and smiles. Peggy tells her that is a lovely idea and Ben is lucky to have her. Peggy closes the door as Stella walks out. Peggy wants to know who the woman he was with is. Peggy tells him that she knows him well enough. He tells her that he was on his own and needed to think about things. She wonders if he’s still going to marry her and Phil says he doesn’t know.

Dean follows Sean to the nail salon. Sean walks in, and Chelsea asks if he’s come to make an appointment for Carly. Chelsea says she can’t make any promises, but they might be able to scrub her up a bit. Sean tells her he’s actually there to see her. He says he knows it’s going to sound crazy but he still fancies her. Then he tells her he’s just kidding he was looking for Tanya. And as for Carly, she doesn’t need 3 inches of slap to look good, but she wouldn’t know anything about that would she. Chelsea is hurt. Outside Dean is spying as he waits for Sean to come out. Sean walks out to find Tanya walking up. Sean pretends that she’s got something in her eye and grabs her face. Dean takes the opportunity to take a photo on his phone. Tanya slaps Sean away, and Sean walks off laughing.

Mo walks into the bookies noticing out loud how empty it is. She lays her sandwich on the counter and tells Pat she’s heard what happened there last night. Pat watches as the cockroach crawls into Mo’s sandwich. Pat looks mortified and then realizes Mo ate the roach.

Sean is visiting Carly. Carly’s phone buzzes as Deans photo comes through. She shows Sean and questions him. Sean tosses it back at her and convinces her that if she can’t trust him, they should call it quits. Carly tells him she trusts him.

Dot walks into the Minute Mart telling Patrick he should be more careful. He says without Yolande he seems to get into trouble. Dot tells him that some people give in to temptation far too easily. She tells him to watch that it doesn’t get the better of him. She tells him he should abstain from alcohol and have an early night like Jim.

Dean’s phone rings and it’s a photo of Carly and Sean kissing. Mickey comes running by as he sees Li with his radio. Ian tells him he can’t bring Wellard in with him. Inside Mickey tells Li he wants it back and his keys. She dumps his keys in tea. He walks out to find Wellard missing.

Patrick is trying to help Bradley who is awkwardly attempting to buy protection. Bradley turns three sheets of red and rushes out as Patrick and Jim have a laugh at him. Max walks into the store and wonders what they are laughing about. Max tells the two of them to grow up.

Over at the Vic, Shirley is rubbing Phil’s arm, and Peggy notices. She calls Phil away from the bar and wonders what he’s going to say to Stella. He tells her he doesn’t know. Peggy says he can’t leave her standing at the altar, the wedding is next week. He says he won’t. Peggy tells him not to throw it all away for nothing, notioning to Shirley. Phil says he’s got to get back to work. Sean comes in and asks for the drag acts number.

Ian is being blasted by Mo who says that her sandwich was crunchy. Ian tells her that if she’d brought it back at the time, he could have done something but seeing as she’s eaten it all there is nothing he can do. Mickey comes storming in and wants to know what Ian has done with Wellard. Mo indicates Ians turned him into sausage rolls. Mickey asks Preeti if she saw what happened to Welard.

Bradley has a beautiful bouquet of flowers and asks Dot if he’s got too much cologne on. Dot tells him that she and Jim are going to have a quiet night in if he ever comes downstairs. Bradley wonders if Jim knows as he’s not upstairs. He’s actually with Patrick and Bradley tells her that they were going for a drink. Dot is frustrated.

At the Vic, Sean is chatting up a guy, and Dean comes in. Chelsea is there, and Dean asks her if she wants another. The drag queen from last week walks up to Dean and start to dress him up like a drag queen. Everyone has a good laugh except Dean, Chelsea, and Shirley. Shirley is right mad.

Bradley comes over to Stacey’s and starts to set up the front room for a romantic night. He puts a towel down and lathers up his hands with massage oil. Stacey comes in with magazines and asks him what he’s doing. He turns even more red than earlier.

Dot goes to Patricks and rings the bell. Jim walks to open the door laughing with a drink in his hand and is startled to find Dot. She reads him the riot act then starts in on Patrick. The party is rolling inside as Patrick walks back in. Dot drags Jim home.

Stella tells Phil she’s made some dinner. He says he’ll be up later. Shirley tells him that she will be ok without him for a bit. She tells him that if he hasn’t found the answers then maybe that is his answer. Phil looks confused.

Stacey tells Bradley he doesn’t have to be embarrassed and he says that she’s not the one covered in coconut oil. They have a good laugh. He tells her that he will wait as long as it takes. She tells him that she wants it to be special, somewhere that no one knows them. She understands they can’t afford it with the wedding coming up.

Upstairs at the Vic Phil finds Stella has set the table. He finds Stella in Ben’s room. He says he wants to talk to her. He says she must really love Ben. She says like her own. Phil tells her that he’s sorry. She says it’s ok and they hug.

Outside his door Mickey finds a note telling him they have his dog. Wellard has been kidnapped.

Bradley sees Max and tells him that he is sorry he had to run out on him. The chat about him and Stacey.

Dean tries to bash Sean with a bat. Sean stops him. He drags him across the square and bangs on Pat’s door. The door opens and Sean tosses him in. Kevin wonders what he’s playing at. Sean tells them all that Dean tried to split his head open. Kevin looks at Dean and asks him to tell him he didn’t do that. Dean tells them to leave him alone. Carly leaves with Sean. Kevin asks Dean again what’s he playing at and not to walk away from him. Chelsea comes in to chat with Dean. Cheslea wants to work with Dean to wipe the smile off Sean’s face.
