Lauren is sitting with the baby. Max walks in and fusses at her for waking him up. Tanya comes down and asks Lauren how her last morning of school went. Lauren doesn’t speak and walks out. Tanya wonders if Max is up to watch the baby. He tells her he is and not to worry. The door buzzes.
Billy is holding Janet and listens to the door buzz nonstop. It’s Mrs. Patel.
Jane and Ian come in with a large bouquet. Tanya ducks into the family room and whispers to Max to be tactful. He presents them, Master Branning. Tanya offers to let Jane hold Oliver, but Jane can’t do it. She and Ian head out. Tanya thanks her for coming.
Mrs. Patel yells up that this is their last warning. Honey starts to pack up their stuff. Billy asks her what she’s doing. Honey tells him that she is packing up to leave. He tells Honey he wanted to spend one last Christmas in their home. Honey reminds him that it is not their home anymore. Mrs. Patel continues to bang on the door and ring the bell.
Pat comes in to find Steven at the table. She offers to make him lunch. He turns her down. She tells Steven she isn’t taking back what she said about Cindy. She tells Steven she was fond of Cindy, but she was no angel. Steven tells Pat it wasn’t what she said, but rather what she didn’t say about Jane. Steven reminds her that Jane can’t have kids because of him. Pat tells him that she didn’t know what to say about it. Steven storms as Carly and Sean come in. Sean teases Pat about him and Carly keeping her up. Pat has some words for Carly about getting involved with Sean again. Sean tells Carly they should go to the Cafe. Pat warns Carly again about getting involved with Sean. Carly whispers sorry to Pat.
Tanya tells Max that she’s only had a baby she does not have a disability. Max has invited Bradley round to go shopping with Tanya. Tanya protest but Max tells her it would make him happy. She tells Bradley he better not slow her down. Max tries to give Bradley some pocket change to buy Tanya a coffee. Bradley greets Abi, but she’s a bit of a grump. Tanya apologizes and tells Bradley that Abi has been demoted to the role of a donkey. Lauren calls Abi Eyeore and teases her about her role. Abi asks Max to make her stop. Abi hits Lauren with a pillow and says she hates Lauren. Lauren laughs and tells her she doesn’t care. They wake up baby Oscar. Max is annoyed.
Billy buys some bits for Christmas dinner and everyone on the market stares at him.
Steven walks up to Jane to help her and tells her she shouldn’t be doing that. Jane wonders how he knows. She tells him to stay away from her.
Carly and Sean walk into the Cafe. Ian is on the phone with Jane. She is yelling at him about Steven knowing the truth about what happened to her. Carly tells him that she can’t stay another night with her. Stacey asks Sean if he’s sticking around. She hears Gus has an open spot in his flat. Sean talks to Gus about crashing with him, but Gus tells him no.
Jane can’t believe Ian told Steven everything. Ian feels that it will help them heal. Jane doesn’t see it that way.
Billy barricades the door so Mrs. .Patel can’t get in.
Abi is folding clothes with Max in the kitchen. He tells Abi brought all this trouble on herself. If she hadn’t done this, then Yolande wouldn’t have gotten hurt in the first place. He tells her it’s not Ben’s fault. Lauren comes in and teases Abi some more about being the donkey. Abi tells Lauren she’s just jealous. Lauren tells her that isn’t the case, and at least this time Abi won’t need a costume. Abi runs out and slams the door. Max yells at Lauren. Lauren pushes back and wonders why she is the only one that ever gets in trouble. Max asks her if she can’t see he’s got his hands full right now. Max tells Lauren that he needs her on board. He tells her about a time when Abi was just six months old, and he and Tanya caught Lauren trying to put her in the bin. He reminds her that he and Tanya started to give her more attention after that but thought she would be a bit old for that kind of thing now. She tells him she wants her room back. Max tells Lauren it won’t be forever and to please hang in there. He sends Abi and Lauren off with some cash to go Christmas shopping.
Billy tells Honey that they can’t get in now. Honey wonders what they will do if the police come. Billy tells Honey that Mrs. Patel will have to get an eviction notice before they can be put out. He tells her they have the electric, water, and telly back. They will be fine and shows her he has food even. Honey wonders where he got the money. Billy swears it wasn’t from the charity money and shows her he pawned his watch. He tells her he will be back on his feet next year. Billy tells Honey: Right now we have a roof over our heads and we’re going to be fine. Honey wonders about nappies and tells Billy they will run out.
Mrs. Patel is talking to a home security company. Sean walks up and knocks on the window of the van. Pat finds all the gifts Steven bought outside by the bin.
Billy watches out the window. Honey is worried. He tells Honey to lock the door behind him so he can go out and get nappies. Honey is nervous as it will be just her and the kids there. He tells her that Mrs. Patel won’t be able to get in.
Pat wonders why Steven threw his gifts away. He tells Pat they don’t want anything to do with him and he can’t blame them. Steven tells Pat he’ll leave them outside their door.
Honey lets Billy out and locks the door. Mrs. Patel watches from a car with two guys.
Roxy comes to the club and hears some giggling and noises. She thinks she’s catching Ronnie but finds Sean helping her move a desk instead. Roxy asks if they are spring cleaning. Sean says he has a special rate for sisters. Ronnie pays Sean, and he leaves. Roxy wonders what’s going on. Ronnie tells Roxy that he wanted some cash in hand and she needed help. Roxy asks if she’s given up on Jack. She says yes he’s gone which means she can do what she wants with the club.
Mrs. Patel pleads with Honey to be sensible and pleads with her to come down and talk to her. She tells Mrs. Patel to go away.
Billy tries to buy nappies, but Yolande is rude, and Peggy joins in. Back at the flat Mrs. Patel and her nephews bust down the door. Honey calls Billy but discovers he’s left his mobile.
Stacey is on the stall and sees Steven go into Ian’s gate. Jane comes out and yells at him, and he tells her that he was dropping presents. Jane tells Steven that she is calling Ian. He follows and tells her it’s a misunderstanding. He just wanted to leave the presents. Steven tells her it’s over, and he won’t bother them again. Jane says, “over? Over for who? I can never have a baby.” Steven tells Jane he knows what it’s like to want someone. He lost his mum. Jane tells Steven that Peter, Lucy, and Bobby lost their mums too, but you don’t see them going out and destroying peoples lives. Steven tells her maybe she can still have a baby. She tells him that she will never be able to. She can’t even look at a baby or even hold her own godchild. Jane yells at Steven that she will never get over this.
Abi is showing Max the gifts she purchased while shopping with Lauren. A scarf for her mum, makeup for Lauren, a toy for Marge and Oscar. She even bought Alien slime for Bradley. He asks what Lauren purchased. Abi shows her and Lauren only bought something for herself.
Steven is frantically packing. Pat comes in, and he hides his bag. Pat tries to smooth over what she said about Cindy. Steven tells her about going to see Jane. Pat rushes off and Steven thanks her for everything. He doesn’t tell her he’s leaving.
Max talks to Lauren about not buying any gifts for others. Lauren tells him she didn’t have anything to wear on Christmas day. Max reminds her that Abi didn’t have any trouble thinking of others. Lauren tells Max that she knows they all know Abi is perfect. Tanya yells up to him that she is home.
Gus tries to get into his flat. Sean opens the door for him and hands him his new key. Sean asks how his Aunt was. Gus protest about Sean being there. Sean hands him first months rent. Gus continues to protest.
Billy comes home to find Honey and the kids on the street with all their belongings. He runs into the building yelling at Mrs. Patel.
Tanya tells Max she wasn’t able to get anything for Bradley as he stuck to her like glue. She wants to get them something more personal. Max tells her they want cash. She tells Max no. She wonders where Jack is as she wants to invite him for Christmas dinner. Tanya tells Max she’s also invited Sean for Stacey. She wants their whole family to be together, and he’s Stacey’s brother.
Billy yells at Mrs. Patel for doing this to them. How could she throw his wife and kids out on the street? She tells him that Honey should get herself a better husband. He makes a go for Mrs. Patel and her nephews toss him out.
Ronnie is placing a plant when Jack speaks up to let her know he’s there. He asks if she’s been busy. She tells him she knew he’d be back.
The men toss Billy out on the street. Mrs. Patel tries to give Honey cash but she refuses it.
Stacey sees Steven leaving. She tells him not to go. He tells her he’s going to go where he can’t do anymore damage. Stacey begs him not to go.
Abi and Tanya leave for the play. Max tells Lauren she’s coming to the play with him. She refuses. He tells her then she will do something nice for Bradley and Stacey and edit the video. They argue about Abi, and she tells him he’s always preferred Abi over her. Max stops himself and asks Lauren to take back what she bought and show him she can think of others.
Stacey finds Sean in the Cafe. He tells Stacey he’s decided to stay put. She says that it is nice for Carly. He tells her he’s not doing it for anyone but her. He’ll be there for her when it all goes pear-shaped. She tells him it won’t. Sean tells Stacey he will be there for her. She asks if it’s like usual. He says no, he’ll be there to help her pick up the pieces and be strong for her. He leaves. Stacey turns to Ian and asks him what he’s said to Steven. He is puzzled. She tells him that Steven is leaving. Ian thinks it’s probably for the best. Stacey says best for who? Ian tells her it’s better he doesn’t do anything stupid there. Stacey tells Ian that he doesn’t know what Steven is capable of. Ian is confused. Stacey tells him this time he might go through with it. Ian asks if he’s threatened suicide. Stacey tells him it wasn’t a threat and she was there, and she saw him. He thinks Steven suckered her into believing him. She wonders what kind of father Ian is. Ian tells her he’s the kind that loves his kids. Ian proudly tells her that if Steven tries it again and is successful, he’ll give her a free meal. Stacey looks at him and asks Ian if Steven will stop being his son if he’s dead.
Lauren tries her shirt on. She goes to the computer and closes it. She takes it upstairs.
Everyone is getting ready for the play. Yolande walks in and speaks to both Abi and Ben. Abi tells Ben he shouldn’t have told on her. Ben tells Abi that she was a bully. She wanted to be Mary and didn’t care how she got it. He tells her that is how Stella used to be, and he walks away. His words hit Abi.
Tanya asks if Lauren is alright. He says she is and it’s just normal teenage stuff. Tanya laughs and says she wonders about all the stuff she put her dad through. Dot tells Julie to put some music on.
Merry Christmas Everybody plays over shots of Honey, Billy and the kids on the street. Stacey is laughing with Uncle Charlie. Steven watching. Ian is opening his presents from Steven. Lauren watching her dad and Stacey kissing.
