Bradley is staring up at Stacey as he asks her for an answer. Stacey says \u201cI don\u2019t know what to say.\u201d\u00a0 Bradley chases after her and tells her he should have asked her ages ago. He tells her that he loves her and he wants to marry her.\u00a0 He tells her that if she says yes, he will never hurt her, he will never leave her again. Stacey asks him about his job in Paris. He tells her to take that he told Mr. Andrews no about the job, to stick it. He tells Stacey that all he cares about is her. \u00a0He tells her he could live in a box, sweep the streets as long as it was with her. Stacey tells him it is not that simple. She says yes, and they get married, and everything is all sorted out? He says yes. He tells her that he loves her and asks her if she loves him t too. She says yes, of course, I do but that there are things he doesn\u2019t know about me. He tells her it doesn\u2019t matter. It\u2019s all in the past, and he\u2019s there now. All he wants is her. She tells him she has to go and starts to walk away. Bradley tells her that he wants an answer now. Stacey tells him\u201d I can\u2019t just decide my whole life just like that.\u201d Bradley tells her that of course, she can. “What is to decide you know what you want! Just choose. You can say n, and I\u2019ll put this back in my pocket walk away, and she\u2019ll never hear of it again. You\u2019ll be free. It\u2019s your choice, Stace. Whatever you want, it\u2019s up to you.<\/p>\n
Across the square, Tanya is clearing up the mail that has piled up. She yells to Lauren and Abi asking what they are doing. Lauren wants to call Lucy but Tanya tells her no. Abi wants to get Marge but Tanya tells her Marge has survived six weeks she can survive one more night. She sends them upstairs to get ready for bed. The girls argue up the stairs. Tanya walks into the kitchen to find Max grumpy looking for milk. They hug and kiss and he ask her how she is feeling. She starts to clear up and he tells her to go to bed and he will sort it all. Tanya asks him what\u2019s wrong. He says it feels strange being back. Tanya asks him if he\u2019s regretting coming back. She says it was only meant to be a holiday. They discuss that this is their new start, pointing to the baby. Max tries to persuade her to go back to Spain tomorrow. Max says we\u2019ve come back to what? Tanya reminds him that they\u2019ve come back to their home, their friends, their business. She reminds him that he was homesick there and wasn\u2019t having the time of his life. She tells him his next mission is to get their girls to their places in school. Max says he\u2019s going to nip off to get milk. Tanya picks up the leaflet for the house in Spain and tears it up.<\/p>\n
Max walks out into the square and glances at the pub. Then makes his way to Stacey\u2019s door. He calls her and she picks up the phone. He hangs up as she answers. Next door Bradley walks into the parlor and asks Dot where his Granddad is. She tells him that he is upstairs. He yells up the stairs for Jim as Dot asks him what\u2019s wrong. The bell rings at Stacey\u2019s and then pounding on the door. She opens to find Max there on the doorstep. He asks her if he can come in. She tells him to go away. He declares he just wants to talk to her. She lets him in. He asks if she\u2019s on her own. She tells him to say what he needs to say and get out. She asks him how the baby is. He tells her he can explain. \u00a0She tells him to go ahead, she\u2019s all ears. He says he missed her. She says \u201cyou\u2019re gone six weeks and that\u2019s all you\u2019ve got?\u201d Max says that she left him no choice! She says to him\u201d sorry?\u201d \u00a0He tells her he had to her was going to come over and she was going to wreck everything. So, you just ran away?\u00a0 He tells her that he thought she just needed to know where you stood? She tells him that she wanted him to come clean, to tell the truth, and tell Tanya. He says he couldn\u2019t. His girls, he just couldn\u2019t when it came to it, he just couldn\u2019t do it. Stacey tells him \u201cwhat makes you think I am not going to go over there now and spill the beans?\u201d He says \u201cyou won\u2019t.\u201d She asks why not, what\u2019s changed? He says that hopefully she\u2019s calmed down by now. She tells him \u201cwhat dumped by a one-word text and you think I\u2019ve calmed down?\u201d He tells her that he didn\u2019t want to lead her on. She says well that is why you didn\u2019t return my calls and sent my present back. He says he\u2019s sorry. She scoffs \u201csorry,\u201d He says he panicked, he didn\u2019t know what to do so he\u2019s sorry. Stacey says \u201cI gave you my heart, I gave you everything and you just trashed it. It wasn\u2019t like that Max says. She says it wasn\u2019t like that? Shall I go over and discuss it with Tanya? Max says\u201d you were angry, upset in the heat of the moment. I mean you ain\u2019t cruel.\u201d Don\u2019t be so sure Stacey tells him. He says what would be the point? She says revenge. Well, that\u2019s fine then. Go ahead. She says You don\u2019t think I won\u2019t? He says to do it Stacey go ahead and go over there. She opens the door and tells him to get out. He calls her name and she tells him to get out that he makes her feel sick and disgust her. He tells her he didn\u2019t want it to be like this. She tells him Sean will be back soon, he can explain it to him. Max asks her doesn\u2019t she want to know why he came back?\u00a0 She tells him no, she doesn\u2019t. Want to know anything about him. He tells her he is sorry for what he\u2019d done, he had feelings for her. She says \u201cyeah I know exactly which feelings.\u201d He tells her that she put him in a corner Stacey once I was there I didn\u2019t think I could come back. He tells her that she was all he could think about as he sat there.\u00a0 He says he was scared. Stacey says \u201cscared of what I\u2019d do, of what I\u2019d say?\u201d He says \u201cno scared of what I\u2019d say I thought if we stayed there that I\u2019d forget. But it didn\u2019t make a difference. On the plane, on the cab ride, my stomach was fluttering like a teenager. \u00a0That first step out of the cab, look at the square I knew I had to see you. Stacey tells him \u201cand now you have,\u201d He tells her he loves her. She tells him that she\u2019s had enough and he has to go. He grabs her and she tells him to get off her. He says \u201cI\u2019m crazy about you.\u201d Ste tells him too bad because she\u2019s crazy about someone else now.\u00a0 She tells him she is with someone else. He asks who and she tells him it\u2019s Bradley and shows him the ring.<\/p>\n
Jim, Bradley and Dot are sitting on the settee celebrating that Stacey has said yes. Jim says he knew she would. Dot tells him she\u2019s so pleased for him. She suggests a drink to celebrate. Bradley can\u2019t believe she said yes. \u00a0She tells Bradley that he\u2019s got a goodness that shines through. Jim passes around the drinks. Dot is excited to plan the wedding. Jim says calm down he\u2019s only just got engaged. The phone rings and Dot is excited to speak with the caller. She hands the phone to Bradley and tells him it\u2019s Abi. The whole family is back from Spain. Jim grumbles and Bradley awkwardly takes the phone.<\/p>\n
Next door Stacey tells Max did he expect her to lock herself in a cupboard and not look at another man. He asks her why? She says because she loves him and wants to marry him. Max asks \u201coh really?\u201d What so all the sudden Bradley is right for her is he? Or was he the nearest thing to get to him. She reminds him that she went with him to get back at Bradley. That she and Bradley should never have split up. He says so what you\u2019ve been back together for four weeks? \u00a0You expect me to believe that four weeks is enough time to decide to get married. Stacey tells him that it is, that they have a good laugh and a good time together. Max asks if that is enough reason to get married. It\u2019s not seedy it\u2019s not dirty and there are no lies. When did he asks you? She said tonight. He said and you knew I was back and you still said yes? She says exactly What would you have said if I hadn\u2019t\u2019 come back? She says that she\u2019d have said the same.\u201d Or was the reason you said yes to Bradley was to stop this? To stop us? Max asks Because you know you can\u2019t help yourself. You\u2019ve stuck him right in the middle, right in the middle of you and me. Cause you aren\u2019t tempted so you don\u2019t fall back into our bad ways. She tells max he has to go, he\u2019s had his say, more than his say and it\u2019s time to go. And he\u2019s had his say You still love me? I despise you. He kisses her hand and pulls him to. He tells her that Bradley can\u2019t make her feel like this. She tells him to get off her. He tells her that in a week, a month she will realize she\u2019s made a mistake and you\u2019re going to dump him. She says it won\u2019t happen. Max says: \u00a0Bradley isn\u2019t right for you. I\u2019m the one you love. \u00a0Bradley is just second best. She tells him he\u2019s wrong and to leave her and Bradley alone. If he doesn\u2019t then, she will go around and tell Tanya the truth right down to the smallest details. Max says \u201cand ruin your wedding day? Stacey says \u201ctry me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bradley has brought Marge over. Tanya finds out Abi had called to have him bring Marge over. Abi is excited to find out that there are two Marge\u2019s now. She tanks Bradley for being the best brother in the world. Lauren gives Tanya the cheek and goes to watch tv. Abi drags the two Marge\u2019s into the front room. Tanya declares this is what happens when they\u2019ve been with their dad 24\/7, spoiled. \u00a0Tanya asks how he\u2019s been. He says good. She goes on to tell him about Max\u2019s crazy idea but that he\u2019s saw the light. She asks about everyone. Then he tells her the news!<\/p>\n
Dot is getting excited to the point she gets out her wedding hat. She and Jim smile at the memory of their wedding. The bell rings and they think it\u2019s Bradley but it\u2019s Max. She lets him in and she asks if he wants to see Bradley. She tells him he is at Max\u2019s house and he has very good news. Max heads out as Dot says she\u2019d love to hear about their holiday. Max leaves and Jim follows him. Jim wants to know what he\u2019s doing back. He\u2019s confused because first they were staying and now they are back. Jim wants to know if it had anything to do with him. He tells him he was 25 years ago. Jim reminds him he was 13. Jim wants to know who else he plans to tell. He begs Max not to tell anyone else. Max looks back at Jim and walks into his house.<\/p>\n
Max walks in to find Bradley and Tanya talking. Bradley gets up and hugs his dad. Tanya tells him to tell Max the news. Max is happy for him. Tanya says they should get some bubbly out Tanya calls Stacey to invite her over. Stacey is at Jim and Dot\u2019s looking for Bradley. Stacey\u2019s mobile rings and it\u2019s Tanya. She invites her over but Stacey tries not to. She insists that Stacey come and hangs up.<\/p>\n
In the kitchen, Max and Bradley are chatting. \u00a0Bradley asks him if he\u2019s happy for him. Max say of course he is. He says as long as you know what you\u2019re doing. Bradley says I thought you would just be happy for me. Max asks if she is pregnant. Bradley says NO. Max says just after last time. Bradley says that is in the past. Max says it\u2019s a hard thing to forget. Bradley says \u201cif you have something to say then just say it,\u201d Max says \u201cwell the first time she was pregnant you ran for the hills, and now you want to marry her?\u201d Bradley says that was a mistake. He\u2019s grown up since then. Max says \u201cYou\u2019re 19,\u201d Bradley says yes, a year older than he was when he got married. Max says he\u2019s only telling him this because he loves him. Bradley says \u201cyou love me?\u201d Max tells him that he\u2019s the only reason he\u2019s there. Bradley is surprised and asks him if he is the reason he left. Max says no. Bradley says \u201cyou were going to stay out there and not even so much as a post card.\u201d Max says let me just tell you something. Bradley says what? Let me guess \u201cdon\u2019t marry Stacey?\u201d \u00a0Yes, max says. Bradley asks him why? Max says \u201cit won\u2019t work out. Bradley asks him how he knows. Max says I know her, I know her type. I know you. Bradley says no you don\u2019t. and tells him that he is going to get married to her and there is nothing he a do about it. The doorbell rings.<\/p>\n
Max grabs him. He tells him to just think about it. Bradley wants to know why. Max says he just doesn\u2019t want him to do what he did. Bradley says How many times do I have to tell him he\u2019s not him. Tanya walks in and notices something is wrong. Max apologizes and Tanya sends him out to meet Stacey. Stacey is in the front room with the girls. Bradley gives Stacey a kiss and asks her if she is ok. Tanya tells her to leave him alone. He is not Max and you never know he might just get married and be happy. They walk in and Tanya tells Max to go on and give Stacey a kiss. Bradley is opening the champagne. Max tells Stacey this isn\u2019t what she wants. She tells him it is. He tells her it won\u2019t last.\u00a0 They all come back together and toast the happy couple. Tanya says someone should toast and Stacey suggest Max make the toast.
